After five years with Vermont Parks Forever, our good friend and colleague Jessie Krust is moving on to a new chapter with her family overseas.

In 2025, we launched a first-in-the-nation pilot program welcoming over 100,000 eligible Vermonters free day-use of all 55 Vermont State Parks.

Vermont Parks Forever (VPF), the nonprofit foundation for Vermont State Parks, would like to welcome a part-time Program and Development Specialist to join our team of 3 by providing critical administrative support for operations and fundraising, and specific program management for the Park Access Fund. This 20-25 hours/week position reports to the Executive Director and also works closely with the Deputy Director.

Introducing Run for the Trees: the virtual 5k that lets you run/walk/roll your way to happiness at your own pace, in your favorite setting, AND supports Vermont's State Parks at the same time.
