Picture yourself as a happy little helper, furthering our work in nature education, increased park access, and conservation efforts for Vermont State Parks.

The Happy Little 5K originated in Michigan ten years ago as part of the “Happy Little Trees” program, a collaboration between Bob Ross Inc. and volunteers to combat invasive pests and tree diseases. Its popularity has led to its expansion into several other states and conservation-related efforts. This year is its first ever in Vermont—and Vermont Parks Forever will use all related funds in support of its mission.

A banner with Bob Ross reads Run for the Trees: Happy Little 5K. Support tree planting and Forest Production in state parks, then lists about 16 state parks.
