We are thrilled to introduce two Board Members who joined us in 2025:
Chris Rivard has been at Ben & Jerry’s for the last 14 years and currently leads the innovation and product development team in Vermont.
“Vermont state parks have been at the core of some of my family’s favorite adventures. Joining Vermont Parks Forever is one way I can give back to the places that have given us so much—helping to ensure that our fellow Vermonters can find the same joy, connection, and sense of wonder that we have.”
Yasamin Gordon loves hiking, backpacking, paddle boarding and snowshoeing. An outdoor enthusiast for decades, Yasamin grew up exploring the forests, rivers and lakes of central Vermont and as a young adult, traveled the world.
She loves everything about the outdoors (aside from mosquitos), and it's her goal to use the healing power of nature to help right the oppressive wrongs of this country and reconnect historically marginalized communities with the Earth that we all have a right to.
