Since the 1980's, I have been on a mission to experience all 55 VT State Parks! I've camped at nearly all of the campgrounds, plus Waterbury Reservoir's remote sites (my favorite). I've picnicked, swum, or hiked through most of the day use areas now. My children "grew up" in VT State Parks with 4-day weekend camping, hiking, kayaking, and more.
Now, I buy a State Park pass for each of our adult children for the holidays every year so they can continue to enjoy the parks with their own families! I cannot imagine spending summer in Vermont without VT State Parks!
