Past Projects

Stone Hut Project

In late December, 2015, fire destroyed Mount Mansfield’s Stone Hut, which had served for nearly 80 years as a shelter for winter recreation enthusiasts. With the help of Vermont Parks Forever, the beautifully restored Stone Hut was re-opened.

Legacy Gifts of Land

Vermont Parks Forever helped manage legacy gifts of land to open two new state parks: Muckross State Park in Springfield in 2016 and Taconic Mountains Ramble State Park in Hubbardton in 2017.
