Yasamin's passion is being outdoors and in nature, and she has been an outdoor enthusiast for decades and enjoys hiking, backpacking, paddle boarding and snowshoeing. She grew up exploring the forests, rivers and lakes of central Vermont and as a young adult, traveled the world. For decades, she has combined her love for nature with her passion for Social Justice advocacy both personally and professionally. Her heart lies by the water of the lakes, rivers and streams that she believes are a life force. She loves everything about the outdoors (aside from mosquitos), it's her goal to use the healing power of nature to help right the oppressive wrongs of this country, and reconnect historically marginalized communities with the Earth that we all have a right to.
