Kate relocated to Vermont in 2021 from the wilds of Southern California, where she chaired the board of her local parks and open space nonprofit and served as a city parks commissioner. She works in public relations and marketing in the media & entertainment tech industry and lives in Burlington with her family and her intrepid terrier, who is her most steadfast hiking companion.

Kate believes in the transformative potential of a single experience in nature. She is grateful to have this opportunity to pay forward the goodwill and generosity of the people who have introduced her to so many magical places in the Green Mountain State and let her soak in their beauty.
