Chris Rivard recently joined the board of VPF in the summer of 2025. He has been at Ben & Jerry’s for the last 14 years and currently leads the innovation and product development team in Vermont. He has spent his career guiding teams and the organization to bring new ideas and technologies to life across global markets and new technologies. He is passionate about collaboration and finding creative ways to solve complex challenges, while staying rooted in Vermont, where he has spent his entire career and now raises his family. Chris, his wife, and their two daughters (plus their dog Indy) spend much of their time camping, hiking, and exploring Vermont’s state parks—experiences that are central to their family values and deepen his commitment to preserving and celebrating the state’s natural beauty.
