The Legend of Nana's Cabin

I discovered Camp Plymouth State Park when my grandchildren were too young to appreciate camping in tents! I rented a cabin and the legend of 'Nana's Cabin' began! Evie was three and Elias was six months old, The well maintained park, the beach across the street, the hike up the mountain and the beautiful cabin - not really "roughing it" but a wonderful place to spend our week.

Now we rent two cabins so both of my children and now four grandchildren can have our own space and yet still be together. We pull in and the relaxation begins. Panning for gold takes up parts of the days - we might strike it rich! The staff is so friendly and helpful, sitting by the fireside and enjoying the beavers in the lake - everything a week in the country should be. Vermont State Parks make my heart sigh with joy!
